Is Britney going to twist the cold knife of revenge in former hubby Kevin Federline’s back by hopping back into bed with ex Justin Timberlake? It would certainly serve the failed rapper right! What does look likely between the former lovers is some sort of collaboration on Britney’s comeback album. Inside sources say Timberlake is working on a track for her, though he won’t likely be performing on the album himself. Producers Timbaland and Pharrell Williams (who co-wrote and co-produced Spears’ “I’m a Slave 4 U”) are definitely on board according to the report from the magazine. Britney Spears rep disclosed that the album could be out as early as next spring.

On a separate but related note: Star Magazine is reporting that Britney Spears has instructed her lawyers to offer Kevin Federline $15 million dollars to shut his trap and get on with his life. It’s not clear whether this offer suggests Federline is actually in control of a sex tape or rather that he has absolutely nothing to do with it. It’s doubtful that any settlement involving the suppression of the tape would be publicized before the tape’s existence has been confirmed.
