Sex Tape Worth $100 Million?
Well, a fella named David Hans Schmidt (a self-described celebrity porn merchant) apparently thinks so. Hans Schmidt, who was also involved with the distribution of sex tapes featuring Fred Durst of Limp Bizkit fame and Saved by the Bell star Dustin Diamond, was quoted: “I’d offer $100 million if this tape is any good. What the [bleep] is News of the World doing trying to get into the porn-selling business, anyway?” What indeed, what indeed?
Okay, how about $15 Million?
On a separate but related note: Star Magazine is reporting that Britney Spears has instructed her lawyers to offer Kevin Federline $15 million dollars to shut his trap and get on with his life. It’s not clear whether this offer suggests Federline is actually in control of a sex tape or rather that he has absolutely nothing to do with it. It’s doubtful that any settlement involving the suppression of the tape would be publicized before the tape’s existence has been confirmed. I think this is just “Shut up and stop pretending there’s a sex tape, Kevin” money… more
